Settle in, unwind, and enjoy a free afternoon.

Meet your licensed local tour guide and begin exploring the enchanting city of Marrakech.

Your guided visit will take you first to the Saadian Tombs, dating back to the 16th century, where members of the Saadian dynasty were laid to rest in beautifully decorated mausoleums. Continue to the Koutoubia Minaret, the city’s most iconic landmark and a masterpiece of Almohad architecture. Next, discover the Bahia Palace, a 19th-century residence known for its intricate stucco work, colorful mosaics, and serene courtyards.

The tour then leads you through the bustling medina, where you’ll witness artisans at work—crafting lanterns, leather goods, and traditional textiles—before arriving at the lively Djemaa el-Fna Square, famous for its storytellers, spice vendors, and street performers.

In the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful visit to the Majorelle Garden, lovingly restored by Yves Saint Laurent. Wander among its exotic plants, cobalt-blue architecture, and tranquil water features.

After breakfast in Marrakech, we will set out on a 3-hour drive to Casablanca. Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world and a stunning example of Moroccan craftsmanship perched over the Atlantic Ocean.
Afterward, enjoy a suggested lunch in Casablanca before continuing on to the neighboring capital city, Rabat. On arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

After breakfast in Rabat, we will journey north towards the enchanting town of Chefchaouen, nestled in the heart of the Rif Mountains. Known as the “Blue Pearl” of Morocco, Chefchaouen is famous for its striking blue-washed walls, winding alleyways, and charming atmosphere.
This peaceful yet lively town is full of character, offering stunning photo opportunities and a relaxed pace. In the afternoon, enjoy an orientation walk through its medina, discovering the colorful streets, handicraft shops, and welcoming local cafés.

After breakfast in Chefchaouen, we will begin our journey towards Fes, with fascinating stops along the way.
First, explore the archaeological site of Volubilis, once a thriving Roman settlement and an important outpost at the western edge of the Empire. Built on the foundations of an earlier Carthaginian town (3rd century BC), Volubilis became the administrative center of Mauretania Tingitana, producing grain and olive oil that enriched Rome for centuries. Today, its ruins still reveal grand basilicas, intricate mosaics, and triumphal arches that speak to its prosperous past.
Continue to the Imperial City of Meknes, often called the “Moroccan Versailles.” Founded in the 17th century by Sultan Moulay Ismail, Meknes is renowned for its monumental gates, massive granaries, and 25 miles of imposing walls that reflect the sultan’s vision of power and grandeur.
By late afternoon, arrive in Fes for hotel check-in and relaxation at leisure.

Luxury Option: Riad Fes

After breakfast, spend the day exploring Fez, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual heart. Highlights include the Fes el-Bali Medina, the Attarine Medersa, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, and the Nejjarine Fountain and Museum. Visit the famous tanneries and admire the exterior of the Royal Palace, before walking through the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah).
Later, enjoy the afternoon at leisure to explore on your own.
Overnight in Fez.

Luxury Option: Riad Fes

Today, we journey south toward the Sahara Desert (approx. 6.5 hours). To make the drive enjoyable, we’ll break it up with scenic stops along the way.
Travel through the fertile valleys and cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing charming lakes and traditional Berber villages. Pause for a picnic lunch near Midelt, then continue through the impressive Ziz Valley, known for its vast palm groves and fortified villages.
Arrive in Erfoud around mid-afternoon, where we’ll spend the night before beginning our desert adventure tomorrow.

Morning at your leisure in Erfoud, then we will head to the village of Merzouga via the holy city of Rissani, a site where the ancestors of the Alaouite Dynasty are buried in the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Sherif. Visit of the ruins of Ksar Abbar, a Kasbah that dates from the 17th century. Continuation to the village of Khamlia known for its Jazz and Gnawa music before we arrive to the auberge close to the dunes, we will then have lunch, relax for couple hours before we start the Camel adventure for an hour seen the sunset over the Golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and arriving to the camp for the overnight

Luxury Option: Sahara Stars Camp

After breakfast in Merzouga, we set out toward Ouarzazate, the gateway to the south and our midway stop before returning to Marrakech.
Along the journey, enjoy a visit to the dramatic Todgha Gorge, a towering canyon carved by the Todgha River, and continue through the scenic Valley of Roses, famous for its lush landscapes and fragrant rose fields.
Arrive in Ouarzazate by the afternoon and check in to your riad for an evening at leisure.

Premium Option: La sultana Royal Golf

After breakfast in Ouarzazate, travel just 33 km to the famous Kasbah Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most iconic ksour, featured in many films and series. Explore its winding alleys and fortified walls before continuing your journey.
The road leads through the scenic Ounila Valley, dotted with picturesque Berber villages, before reaching the Kasbah of Telouet. Once the seat of the powerful Glaoui family, the kasbah is renowned for its exquisite zellij tilework and intricate woodcarving. Here, you may also enjoy a taste of the local specialty—a delicious fig tajine at a nearby café.
From there, rejoin the main route to Marrakech, crossing the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains (approx. 4 hours’ drive).
On arrival in Marrakech, you will be transferred to the airport in time for your departure flight.

Deserts in Morocco are scorching in summer, with temperatures reaching 50°C (122°F) in July and August. Winters, however, bring freezing nights. Be prepared: bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a wide hat, breathable clothing, insect repellent, and warm layers for winter.

 

At the dunes, you’ll meet your camel caravan. After a short intro and scarf assistance, you’ll enjoy a ride to a scenic sunset spot and onward to camp. If needed, camps are also accessible via 4×4. Return options include camels or 4×4 vehicles.

 

No need to carry bags during the camel ride. Dedicated 4×4 vehicles transfer your luggage to the camp. We recommend packing only essentials for the night and leaving the rest with your driver.

 

Yes! All rooms and tents are private, with options for twin, triple, or double setups. Every room or tent includes a private bathroom with hot water.

 

 

Drivers share local insights while navigating, but licensed tour guides provide detailed cultural and historical context in major cities. Full-time guides can be arranged for the entire trip upon request (additional fee applies).

 

ATMs are widely available in cities and accept most international cards. Credit cards are accepted in many hotels and restaurants, but carry cash for smaller towns, taxis, and tips.

 

Tap water isn’t recommended due to its mineral content and potential microbes. Stick to bottled water—brands like Sidi Ali and Ain Saiss are widely available and affordable.
