Tour Booking

Prices

Tour prices vary depending on several factors such as accommodation type, season, and group size. However, our price guidelines provide an indication of the expected cost. Final prices are always confirmed with you in writing before booking. All prices are indicated in US dollars (USD) and are valid until 31st December 2025

Reservations

Inquiries about a tour with Go to Sahara can be made via phone, using one of the contact forms, or by direct email. Bookings are confirmed via email thread.

Deposit

After we confirm your tour in writing, we ask you to pay a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost. Deposit payments can be made by electronic bank transfer or by credit card via PayPal. Details of how to pay the deposit will be sent to you when we confirm availability. All bookings are secured once we receive the initial deposit. For short notice bookings, we may require a good faith deposit. For group bookings (more than 6 persons), different booking terms will apply and we will notify you at the time of booking.

Payment

You may either pre-pay the final balance within the month prior to your trip or settle the balance via your tour driver/guide. If paying the driver/guide, the balance must be paid in cash (Dirhams, Pounds, USD, or Euros). Credit/Debit cards are NOT accepted locally for security reasons. If paying the balance in advance, payments can be made by electronic bank transfer or by credit card via PayPal.

Cancellation by client

Cancellations must be notified in writing by email. The following charges apply:

  • Less than 6 weeks: 30% of total cost

  • Less than 2 weeks: 50% of total cost

  • Less than 1 week: 80% of total cost

  • Less than 4 days: 100% of total cost

Cancellation/alterations by us

Due to the nature of our tours, certain situations (such as adverse weather) may require changes to the itinerary. We will inform you as soon as possible. If we must cancel a tour due to reasons beyond our control (“force majeure”), you will be entitled to a full refund minus any costs already incurred. If we cancel for other reasons, you will receive a full refund. No further compensation will be payable.

Accommodations

Accommodation quality varies by Moroccan local standards. Hotels, riads, and guesthouses are booked according to availability. Upgrades can be requested for an additional fee.

Special requests

Please inform us at the time of booking about any special requirements (dietary needs, bed preferences, etc.). We will do our best to meet them, though they cannot be guaranteed.

Travel insurance

You must have comprehensive travel insurance that includes medical emergencies and rescue/evacuation. Please ensure any adventure activities (camel trekking, quad biking, etc.) are covered by your policy.

Flights

Flights are booked independently by you. Go to Sahara has no responsibility or liability for flight arrangements.

Illness and/or disability

Please notify us in advance of any illness or disability that may affect your participation in the tour.

Personal property

You are responsible for your personal property and travel documents during the tour. Go to Sahara accepts no liability in this regard.

 

Online payments

Validation of your online payment constitutes irrevocable acceptance of these terms.

1. Preamble

These terms govern all online transactions via the Go to Sahara website.

2. Purpose

They define the rights and obligations of both parties in the context of online sales.

3. Sales

The customer selects the desired service on our website, fills in their details, accepts the terms, and clicks “Pay.” Payment is processed through the Centre Monétique Interbancaire secure platform.

4. Payment methods

Online payment by credit card is secured by the Centre Monétique Interbancaire. Funds are debited within one working day after transaction confirmation. The customer guarantees sufficient funds when paying.

5. Data privacy

Payment data is treated confidentially. Customers may consult or rectify their data by sending us an email.

6. Proof of payment

Data stored on the Centre Monétique Interbancaire platform for the account of the Go to Sahara website is considered proof of payment for online transactions.
