Deserts in Morocco are scorching in summer, with temperatures reaching 50°C (122°F) in July and August. Winters, however, bring freezing nights. Be prepared: bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a wide hat, breathable clothing, insect repellent, and warm layers for winter.

At the dunes, you’ll meet your camel caravan. After a short intro and scarf assistance, you’ll enjoy a ride to a scenic sunset spot and onward to camp. If needed, camps are also accessible via 4×4. Return options include camels or 4×4 vehicles.

No need to carry bags during the camel ride. Dedicated 4×4 vehicles transfer your luggage to the camp. We recommend packing only essentials for the night and leaving the rest with your driver.

Yes! All rooms and tents are private, with options for twin, triple, or double setups. Every room or tent includes a private bathroom with hot water.

Drivers share local insights while navigating, but licensed tour guides provide detailed cultural and historical context in major cities. Full-time guides can be arranged for the entire trip upon request (additional fee applies).

Tap water isn’t recommended due to its mineral content and potential microbes. Stick to bottled water—brands like Sidi Ali and Ain Saiss are widely available and affordable.
