Is the Morocco Atlantic coast good for non-surfers?

Absolutely. Surfing is just one part of the experience. Beach days, fresh seafood at the port, camel rides on the sand, ATV rides, boat trips, sunset walks and exploring Essaouira medina give non-surfers a full and unforgettable trip.

September to May offers the best surf conditions with bigger Atlantic swells, more powerful waves and world-class breaks at Taghazout and Imsouane.

Yes. June to August is flat for serious surfing but perfect for swimming, beach days, beginner surf lessons and the best seafood of the year. The Atlantic coast is also noticeably cooler than Marrakech in summer which makes it one of the best additions to any summer Morocco trip.

Public transport between Taghazout, Imsouane and Essaouira is limited and complicated. We handle all transport with private air-conditioned vehicles so your group moves between destinations comfortably with no stress.
